Effective governments protect their people's freedoms.

Welcome back to my eighth Freedom for People First post at cwatts.us. I appreciate you. Check out my updated ABOUT THIS SITE page.
Now is the time to check out Indivisible's new conversation tool, Neighbor2Neighbor, and engage our Democratic neighbors and celebrate Kamala's endorsement by our beloved POTUS.
Empathy is the soul of democracy and crucial for expanding freedoms for all. I encourage you to make empathy (care) central to constant public discourse. All Aboard the 3:12 Empathy to Freedom Train is on page 8. Listen to Hidden Brain Innovation 2.0: The Influence You Have to learn how effectively you could expand our freedoms. Consider joining the PROJECT CARE TEAM to help me find legislative sponsors for CARE Education in your state.

Freedom voters in and out of office care for each other, because care is our duty. Kamala cares.
The rule of law is based on the concept of our duty to care for each other. If you have no empathy, if you think raping and stealing are okay, democracy makes no sense. Kamala Harris is committed to governing and prosecuting with empathy.
"The best way to neutralize a budding insurgency," says Barbara Walter, author of How Civil Wars Start: and How to Stop Them, "is to reform a degraded government: bolster the (legal duty to care), give citizens equal access to the vote, and improve the quality of government services."
Conservatives attacked Ketanji Brown Jackson's empathy!
When the Biden-Harris administration nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson to replace Stephen Breyer, she was immediately attacked because of her empathy.
ABC News reporter Devin Dwyer wrote, "Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson never uttered the word 'empathy' in nearly 19 hours of testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee this week, but she effectively made clear it's a hallmark of her style and an asset to judicial credibility.
"My professional experiences, including my work as a public defender and as a trial judge, have instilled in me the importance of having each litigant know that the judge in their case has heard them, whether or not their arguments prevail in court," she said.
Vice President Kamala Harris defended Judge Jackson's empathy in Selma.
Quoting Vice President Harris, The Hill reporter Monique Beals, wrote, “I’ll tell you what I think you know. Judge Jackson is a phenomenal jurist,” said Harris, the first Black woman to be vice president, noting that Jackson’s record “proves her commitment not only to public service but to equal justice and equal rights.”
“As she makes history, Judge Jackson, like us all, stands on the shoulders of giants. She and we are their legacy,” Harris added in a nod to civil rights leaders who crossed Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma fighting for their rights. Police and civilians attacked the unarmed marchers with clubs and tear gas.
But ultimately the question is WILL ENOUGH AMERICANS CARE to vote for Kamala.
Most Americans want the American ideal of strong, diverse and nurturing communities caring for each other in their ethical businesses and effective governments. We've had enough of billionaires running and ruining our lives. Walter's research shows that when enough people are committed to the duty to care, they elect their neighbors to protect them with the rule of law and provide decent, living wage jobs.
When Americans are committed to their duty to care for each other prosperity broadens, opportunities appear, and freedoms expand. If you're a religious person, you may remember that scripture says, "You'll know them by their fruit." Conservatism's rotten fruit has sickened and killed us with mass murder loopholes in all kinds of laws.

Your Neighbors Need Your Encouragement. Trifecta is possible.
The Indivisible Neighbor 2 Neighbor tool is a CARE MULTIPLIER. Click the photo above and sign up. I've already knocked on 20 doors using the app and the conversations were awesome.
Caring freedom voters are strong nurturers. We don't wait to engage our email lists and our neighbors in offering hope, decency, and encouragement to vote. Caring freedom voters CAN win the Presidency, Senate, and House as well as state races.
The caring choir, the care wing of your neighborhood needs you to show up on their doorstep and give them some love and hope. I know you care. So, let's show our care to each other together.
Thanks for reading. I appreciate you.
